To use: Drop a Dock Sentry over a pole
at the bow and one over a pole at the
stern end of the boat. Tie mooring
lines to Dock Sentry’s where indicated.
Snug mooring lines to keep waves from
rocking the boat and the inflatable
float on dock sentry will cushion the
boat against the mooring pole allowing
it to rise easily during high water
events, all the while, keeping it from
rocking and slamming against the dock
from currents, waves, & winds or all of
these.
Docks with poles under 2 ¾in O.D. would
order 12in or 16inDock Sentry’s. Two
each per boat one for the bow line and
one for the stern line. Larger boats and
docks with poles on the inside of dock
edge, order the 16in size Dock Sentry
for best results. For all smaller boats
with pipes on the outer edge of the
dock, 12in Dock Sentry’s are adequate.
For docks with piles large poles or no
poles, we recommend using 30in poles for
floating docks and 5ft telescoping poles
for stationary docks where flooding may
occur. On small stable lakes with no
history of flooding a smaller pole may
be adequate. We can adopt a mounting
configuration so our poles can be
attached to almost any dock construction
even drive on docks. Please feel free
to call us with your unique dock
requirements.
